February 2022 News Update

February already!  This year is going quickly.  Have you bought your tickets for our show this month? 11th,12th, 17th,18th and 19th Feb, if not, please ring our Box Office: 07899 99890 or visit www.ticketsource.co.uk/hag.    Secondary Cause of Death is a fun play, can you guess who the murderer is?  Or is there more than one? There are certainly many bodies! With the lack of a Pantomime come and watch this comedy.  I am sure we could all do with a laugh and the very inept Inspector Pratt is certainly farcical.  We look forward to entertaining you.

HAG ROCKS! CHOIR

Back singing again!  Fab-u-lous!  Singing certainly helps keep our spirits up.  If you are interested in joining us we meet every Monday evening in the Jubilee Hall at 7.30pm – 9.30pm.  A varied repertoire from show tunes, to pop and folk songs.

We are extremely grateful to our membership for supporting us through good and bad times – without shows our funding has declined, as with most groups at the moment, so a BIG THANK YOU to our members.

Please contact us if you are interested in joining our fun group in whatever capacity.  Stay safe and take care. contactus@hartleyartsgroup.com

January 2022 News Update

Happy New Year!  Welcome to 2022!  It is now full steam ahead with rehearsals for our next production in February;  ‘Secondary Cause of Death’.  The play has been such fun to rehearse, it is full of interesting characters and a very inept Inspector.  Do you remember Thora Hird with her character who always got the wrong words, well Inspector Pratt is similar, and I wonder how many you will spot.  Do you like guessing who is the murderer or is there more than one?  Come and be challenged!

HAG ROCKS! CHOIR

Monday evening 7.30pm – 9.30pm a great start to the week and a boost to the spirits.  Singing is so good for mental health.  January always seems a low energy month after Christmas, so come and recharge your energy batteries.

Please contact us if you are interested in joining our fun group in whatever capacity.  Stay safe and take care. contactus@hartleyartsgroup.com

HAG Rock Choir Christmas Show Cancelled

As those of you who were at choir will know, last night we did a survey to see how many were prepared to be part of this year’s Christmas show. Sadly, we do not have enough to go ahead with it so it is to be cancelled. Covid has had such a devastating effect on so many people for a long time now, and this is yet another unfortunate consequence that we have to face up to.
