SPRING IS SPRUNG – let’s hope the weather is warmer and more settled after the sunshine, chilly winds and snow last month. Exciting news this month we have a read through of Hi-De-Hi on May 25^th and auditions on May 27^th and 1^st June. We are so looking forward to putting on the show in October 8^th, 9^th, 14^th, 15^th and 16^th dates for your diary!  Lots more planned for the coming months so please watch this space and contact us if you need more information.

HAG ROCKS! CHOIR

Our Choir Leaders are organising small group rehearsals starting this month and shall be rehearsing songs for a Charity and Remembrance Evening for our dear friend Lesley Parish to be held on 23^rd July.  Members of the Choir should have received all information.  Keep singing, keep smiling!

As I said last month – We are extremely grateful to our membership for supporting us through good and bad times – a BIG THANK YOU those of you who have already paid.  If you haven’t yet, can we ask for your support again?  We do hope so, the show MUST go on? Goodness April already!  Here’s hoping everyone behaved themselves and Boris has now allowed us to meet up with 6 people outside as promised.  Hi-De-Hi is still a possibility for October and read through and auditions (albeit via Zoom) are hopefully happening.  As I have to write this a month in advance I need to be a clairvoyant, so fingers crossed that is the case.  There will be a time when live entertainment is back on track and we shall be thankful we can gather and enjoy.

Still on hold, however, a little bird told me she is already preparing music and arrangements for some songs and is currently working on Oliver!  Not sure what songs exactly, but musicals are always a hit with the Choir.  Remember our Phantom of the Opera – the Sopranos loved hitting those high notes (I wonder if we can hit them now)?  Keep singing, keep smiling!
